hi hun I give my lo sugar free robinsons by well he hates water and just throws it on the floor. as long as its sugar free I don't see the problem. I also tried orange juice with water in and after he refused it I tried it and understood why, it was awful. xxx

Nawh I used to, but Jack started refusing water and we had a tough couple of months, so now if he wants something different he has a smoothie! I detest juice anyway, always have. When I was a kid the only things I'd drink were water, and the occasional banana milkshake. All my friends parents thought I was a right weirdo. People still do. "D'you want a coffee? Some juice?" "Nah, glass of water'll do me fine" "Oh don't be silly, have some juice!" "Seriously, stop pushing that shit, give me some bloody tap water and be done with it!"

^ many a conversation has gone this way.

no, water or bm for us too, not keen on aspartamine or other sweeteners personally. When he's older I would likely go for fresh orange diluted (not from concentrate types) but that's a while for me.

If you and hv are happy tho don't worry - these are all personal choices that you as a mother take and am sure lo is fine having it in moderation.

From my understanding sugar free stuff has aspartamine in it and that stuff is evil. So no If Poppy is thirsty I give her some watered down baby juice. I'd rather her have a little sugar then aspartamine after what I've read about. x

My LO went through a period of refusing water. I just kept offering it everyday. Sometimes he would take a drink and toss his cup on the floor or just play with it...but he took more and more drinks each day. Now he loves water - i have to tell him to slow down before he drowns himself
