Teething necklaces?

Hi Ladies

I have purchased an Amber teething necklace for Avery who is currently 8 weeks old. For those of you using them and/or planning to use them what age did you place it on your baby?

Thanks

My LO is 4 and a half months and he's teething really badly so I got him an Amber anklet just last week.

We put the necklace on LO when she was about 12 weeks old. At first I use to take it off for bedtime but forgot a couple of times so just left it on all the time. She doesn't even know its there and has never played with it or even acknowledged it. She just started to have her 2 bottom teeth break through and she's been a dream. I've noticed that she is dribbling a little bit but no where near as much as another boy at her play group who is also teething.

Wow that sounds really positive, thanks for your response! I guess I will wait a few more weeks!

Very!

well actually i didnt tell the whole truth above, he had his off for around 3 days because when we got it one of the stones was chipped and we thought nothing of it but it irrated his neck, so we took it off him, cut the stone off (well crushed it) and popped it back on.

when it was off he was MUCH more dribbly and had a rash on his chin/chest from it and needed bibs

with it on he is much less dribbly and due to the massive difference (lack of red cheeks, dribble and nappy rash) we have just always left it on

he has had a bit of funny teething pain the last week but his very very back teeth are coming through so its understandable, still not one broken nights sleep from teething (touch wood) and hes literally on his last 4 x

Had ours on since the day we go it (don't remember when but 2 months or so I think). Never take it off apart from baths and swimming lessons. Wouldn't be without it. There's 2 occasions where we've had to pull out the big guns and get some calpol because he was teething so badly that he was dribbling everywhere which was unusual. Went to get the calpol and realised both times that it was because we'd forgot to put the necklace back on after his bath. He never bothers with it at all but the effects it's had on him have been amazing - would definitely recommend!
