New bedding for Erica!

I dont know if I posted in here about it, but currently we live in a one bedroom apartment. It sucks and we really wanna move, but I want to stay here while we save money so we can buy a house soon. Even tho our bedroom is a good size, I feel like with Erica in there we're squished. Once she is 15lbs she is out of her bassinet. So I've decided that we are going to make her a bedroom'ish area. Its very unconventional, but I'm going crazy. We have a good size dining room with a really big table in it. We never eat in there so I've decided we are storing the table for a while, and making that her room. (Is this nuts?!?!) We're putting her crib and changer in there, buying drapes that are nursery friendly, and I'm going to hang sheer panels to separate it from the rest of the apartment. I'm going to paint it pink and hope to make it look just like a little nursery. I hate that we dont have a bigger place, and we can rent a bigger place right now, but it will only delay us buying a house since out rent with go up dramatically.

Anyway, last week I was browsing in Pottery Barn Kids and fell in love with the Callie bedding collection. We originally intended on doing the En Pointe collection from Babies R Us, but I think the Callie is very classic and sophisticated, and pretty at the same time. So me and my mom went to the mall today and bought the whole collection. I have to wait until DH has time to move the table and everything so I can start painting, but hope to have it done before her 4 month appt, in case she is up to 15lbs by then. I've got it in my head what I want it to look like, I just hope it turns out ok since its completely unconventional. But here is the collection we got:

These drapes with the pink border:

We got lucky cause it just went on sale!!! It wasn't when I looked at it, and I couldn't believe we got such a steal on a PBK collection!

Looks great! And don't worry about the dining room being changed into a nursery, we are using our solarium (formerly used as an office) as our nursery and moved our desks out into the living (so I completely understand the lack of space!)

Thanks! =)

I love that set Samantha! Oh, and Holly, I told DH that if our next child is a boy, we can decorate in either the Safari, or their blue collection. (Cant remember the name right now, and the catalog is in my bedroom... The one that looks kinda Nautica'ish) He LOVES the safari.

I hope that it turns out ok. I think if DH lets me have free reign it will be great lol. We disagree on a lot of decorating stuff... Sometimes I swear he disagrees with me just so he can say no! I'll def post pics when its done. I hope to have it done by the end of the month. She has her 4 month checkup on Aug. 06 then we are leaving for Vegas, so I dont wanna have to come home and finish it. But when I paint we have to stay out of the house for a day since DH has asthma. I'm so excited tho!
