Dionne, the one HUGE pit fall I found with the re-usables was not the nappy itself but the wrap (cover). So many of them leak!
If you just want to try one kind I would highly recommend OneLife or Motherease, as these make the wraps I think are the most reliable.

Totsbots and other brands are lovely, but the above two 'do exactly what they say on the tin', without being too pretty.

If you're not bothered about second hand how about trying a nappy library first? Maybe Coventry have one? It's wear you borrow some just to see how you get on. You could try different ones then

Dionne I reckon you'd be better off with trying pocket nappies as opposed to shaped nappies with wraps. I think you'd find them easier as all you have to do it put something inside the pocket (boosters, prefolds, muslin) then popper it on. The liner is built in so you wont need any of those and the outside is the waterproof layer so you wont need a wrap.

Just my opinion And good luck with them!

I just found a really cool site for nappies cheaper

http://www.littlelamb.co.uk/

I bought one to try and have fallen in love with it.

I just have to wait for a baby to fill it to give it a really good workout.

Anyone using reusables alread? how are they?
