8wk injections whilst hes got a viral infection?


His viral infection is on the way out, but i'm unsure about these injections, i'm dreading taking him anyway.... do you think i should postpone?

Is he on antibiotics? If so they usually won't give it anyway.x

Nope, the consultant said it was on its way out, but hes still not 100%

Call and re arrange them. They don't like giving injections to babies who are poorly. A delay of a few weeks won't do any harm whereas the jags ontop of an infection could possibly.

Amber had all hers 4 weeks late, the boys had the odd one late due to illness too.

Plus, you will be abit peeved if you go all the way down and they say 'oh we will leave it to next week then'.

Yeah I would definitely postpone them - it won't do any harm for them to be a week or two late.

I'd definately ring them and see what they say - they do unsettle them so if he's not 100% anyway it could be so much worse. Hope he gets better soon x

it's up to you hun, if you feel it's not right then postpoe it for a week - the doctors won't mind and you'll feel better for it. a week delay wont matter.

Yeah i called this morning to rearrange thanks ladies!

had 6 dirty nappies so far today and hes only been up 5 hours, hes got the runs big style! he seems in good spirits tho!
