rolling over at night

My LO has started to roll over in her sleep and wakes herself up and cries. I put her on her back and that seems to make her go back to sleep. What should I do? Do I let her cry it out? Is this a phase? How long will this last?

I've seen those pillow things that sit on either side of the baby at waist level to stop rolling.... maybe that will help?

Or maybe try rolling a towel or nappy, just careful it can't dislodge and cover the face.

I don't know but I'd say it could be a phase? Can she roll over easily in both directions during the day? If she can I would be inclined to leave her for a bit to try and sort herself out rather than rushing in to turn her back. But if she's still learning to roll then I think I would turn her back over for the moment to let her get back to sleep.

mine is doing this too. Also though she is sleeping with her face down, but sometimes cries. I would move her back when crying incase she gets in difficulty x
