I dont give Caitlin any. I was told they dont need it until their 6 months. She's never dehydrated, and seems fine without.

i make a 5oz bottle of water everyday, Harriet will usually have about 3oz a day.
Babies dont necessarily need water, but she was getting constipation so water has helped. Theres no harm in it to so may as well keep giving it to her.

since she has been drinking water everyday, her skins got better and her milk spots have almost gone!!

I have read that it is bad for them before 6 months. For one thing, it fills them up when they should be having milk, and for another, there is something called 'water toxicity' that newborns can get...

None

If they are thirsty you should be giving them milk - especially when this young.

My doc says only give it if LO is constipated.
