no way! we have this hairchair and are lucky as it was brought as a present. i think it is uncomfortable for alfie the sit is large and he just seems so small in it even now at gone 8 months.most of the time he moan and wants to get out.. my mum brought him a graco bright yellow one from asda it cost them 25 pound and has two toys stuck on it. alfie loves it and sits in it all the time even playing with toys.

definately was a bad choice that me and my partner made with the bloom

I really really really wanted the Bloom but OH said no way! I ended up sticking with the one from first LO. Another one I liked was the Cosatto 3sixti, pretty similar for half the price http://www.kiddicare.com/webapp/wcs/..._-Product+Feed

Completely different type of chair, but if you've got a bit of money to spend, then I highly recommend the Stokke Tripp Trapp! We have one and basically Ruby is sat at the table with us, and is really part of meal times. We bought a plastic one with a tray first but she just whinged to get out. She'll sit in the Tripp Trapp for ages.

We have the Fresco Bloom Loft one and we love it. I wish we'd got it when Leyla was a newborn cos it's nice that it lies back. Leyla seems comfy it in although if we want to use it with the tray, I put a cushion underneath her as she's a bit small/the tray's a bit high for her to reach. It IS expensive but we decided to go for it because we'd bought the budget option with everything else and wanted to buy something really nice. Leyla does spend a fair bit of time in hers as I wheel it into the kitchen and raise it as high as it will go when I'm washing up, cooking etc. It's really great that it spins round - she loves being twirled in it (not recommended I'm sure!) and it means we can face her towards us wherever we are.

John Lewis stock them so if you have one near you, might be worth going for a look. The one thing I slightly regret is that we got the Loft one which is high enough for a breakfast bar but I didn't realise that it doesn't go quite as low so it doesn't go properly under our table when the safety bar is on. We get around that by just using the harness without the bar, but I would probably get the lower (cheaper) one if I was choosing again.

I got the classic, and love it!!! I already put LO in it, but I tend to put something on it to make it a bit softer if she is having a short nap...

No good for long sleeps, but great for wheeling around and so easy to wipe clean!

It is expensive, but we are tight for space so multifunction is really handy.
