My best friend had a neighbour like that once, would accuse her of having parties and being too loud etc. She was a complete mental case she rang the police because of a party going on when there was no one in thehouse as my friend was off on holidays! The police turned up to an empty flat!
Things escalted when my friend became pregnant with the twins ( she already had a toddler at this stage) this crazy b*tch contacted social services saying my friend was selling drugs from the flat and running a BROTHEL!
Anyway obviously social services turned up and saw that obviously it was malicious and all the allegations were completely wrote off

for today hun! Im sure everything will be fine, try to stay calm about it. Do you still have the letter she stuck through the door?

Offer the SS woman to speak to some of the neighbours your closest with if they want to know more, they probably wont but its proving you have proof your not a bad mum IYKWIM

Once they've written the claims off I would ask them to send you a report of the meeting you've had and go straight to the police this afternoon hun, Is she old?? I'd also give Adult Social Services a call and get some advice, she could be mentally ill or something.

xxxx

Argh you poor thing! What a rotten thing to do!

There seem to be so many threads these days where people have made malicious calls to SS If only it'd work, wouldn't it be nice if people couldn't remain anonymous, so if they called in and it was then found to be malicious, they'd be fined or charged or something! Would probably stop the genuinely concerned anonymous calls though, but darn, this makes my blood boil

I agree - I'd go straight to the police with SS report and file an official complaint for harassment against this woman so that it's on file.

Good luck for today - not that you will need it/
