I tend to avoid Johnson's as it contains parabens. I like
Burt's Bees things, but have to use an eczema cream now

Izzy has never really had dry skin anyway - so I wouldn't know if this is good or bad - but it didn't give her dry skin iykwim!
same here! ppl are aways saying how nice my DD's hair smells it also helps with sleeping cuz of the lavender. I only bathe her every other day so I dont know if that makes a diff with dru skin. i also give her a massage with johnsons cucumber melon lotion which also smells very good!

I wanted to stop using Johnsons shampoo as I noticed a few dry patches on Elliott's head and a teeny tiny bit of cradle cap at the front that he has had from birth.

I looked around and ended up buying Elave baby shampoo. It is a bit more pricey at £6.99 but contains no harmful ingredients and most of the ingredients are organic.

I use Dentinox Cradle Cap Shampoo. Even though their cradle cap is starting to clear up now, my doctor said that she still uses this on her own daughter now, and she's almost 5 years old. My doc says it's really good for their scalp and I have to be honest, it cleared their cradle cap (which was really bad) very quickly. About £2.90 a bottle I think and lasts ages x

i was talking to my SIL who has just finished a hairdressing qualification, and the said to avoid pH neutral shampoos as the hair's pH level isn't neutral, and it causes dried skin and cradle cap in some babies as a result. she said she's seen old ladies with cradle cap cos they've used baby stuff

don't know how right that is, as shr is prone to dramatising things, but hey! lol we just was her hair with simple baby bath at the mo as she doesn't have much! i use an avon kids shampoo for my eldest
