| Mum (Mom) BnB Addict  Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: East yorkshire, england Posts: 6,200 | mothers day grumble what a cheek! god damb mil! hiya girls!!! GRRRRRRRR! well im not happy what so ever!!! In our local paper they were doing this thing were you can put a free advert in the paper for mums or grandmas or whatever specially for mothers day. So as soon as i saw them advertiseing this (about 4 weeks ago) i decided to put 2 in for my mum 1 off me and adam one of the kiddie winks! and the same with adams mam my mil. i thought it would be a really nice gesture so the ones from me and adam i wrote different things for our mums but the ones off the kids i made both same saying- happy mothers day! to the best grandma in the world big hugs and kisses taylor and mia xxx and this was to my mum and mil. on mothers day adam took me and the kids to seaside for the morning for a nice walk, then he was dropping me and kids off at my mums while he went to his! he had bought his mum a bunch of flowers and i said get her a box of chocs so she has summit of the kids (yno to make her feel a bit more special) When we got home i asked adam wat his mum thought of the adverts and he said "ermm she wasnt very happy that it said worlds greatest grandma" and i said why not? apparantly she purposly looked at my mums advert and i gather wasnt too happy that both said greatest grandma in the world!!! wat difference does it make!!! im not really gunna put it on one and not the other!! my mum didnt care! according to her they cant both be the best grandmas in the world! i was the one that got adam to make more of a fuss on his mum. i didnt get a thank you or anything, adam tried to make out she was joking when he saw how miffed i was. shes always been good to us and i have seen her as like a second mum. but sometimes she can put us down but twist it like shes joking. ive had enough of it  am i over-reacting?! lets face it if it was down to adam he would of only got her a card! after all im the mother of his kids and i got a card and half dead plant lol and i didnt complain lol |
