Another magic sleep trick!

Well, we're just leaving the three month growth spurt after 2 weeks of poor Molly crying all night with tiredness and hunger and after trying so many different things OH randomly remembered me mentioning seraphim's bathroom trick and it made him think of the white noise from the extractor fan in our bathroom.

Sooo, he took her into the kitchen, swaddled, turned on the extractor fan above the oven and bam... out like a light and it works every single time! :O

If you have an iphone then you can download an app called white noise. It works a treat with our lo.

Sorry to cut in on your thread but my LO is the same age and is now not sleeping through and I'm at my wits end. (getting up 3 times in the night and is hard to put down to sleep at night) Is there a growth spurt at 3 months then and maybe thats why she is like this just now??

Thank God. She was a good sleeper until now ( 10pm to 7am maybe waking once). Going to bed at 8pm and waking at 12am, 4am and then 6am and she will stay awake until about 12noon. People keep saying to me don't feed her during the night because she doesn't need it but she takes 6-7oz at her 12am and 4am feeds. She was crying for a good 20 mins tonight when I put her to bed with me comforting her and she normally goes down fine.

Bun is coming out the other end of his growth spurt finally! And he has grown a ton - into 6-9 month clothes! But it was taking me 1.5-2h to put him down at night, he was even crankier during the day, was really fussy at the boob, and was waking up at 4am - unusual for him. But this past week he is getting much better - he is smiling again and much less cranky!!! Best thing is he is sleeping through to 6:30am again - YAY!

xx

If you go on youtube and type in white noise there are quite a few white noises you can play - always puts Bella to sleep! And if she wakes before the nap is due to end then playing white noise gets her back to sleep as well!
