What really irritates you now your a mummy!!

I thought this would be a funny thread to start and vent our fustrations... ok so the question is what really bothers you now your a mum that never bothered you before??

I have 2......

1. People who get in lifts that are neither disabled or have a pram/buggy or a small child. I was in a shopping centre today that had 1 lift and it had 3 floors. Loads of teenagers where using the lift and I had to wait 20mins for a lift as everytime it stopped at my floor I couldn't get in!!! Why can't they take the stairs or escalator!

2. People in supermarkets parking their trolleys over the full aisle so that I can't get the pram passed and then having to say 'excuse me' about 10 times before they move!!!!

My OH thinks I'm mad!!!

I agree about the lifts, and it irritates me more when it's fat kids. I always start growling to OH "it's no wonder they're fat, they should take the frigging stairs!!".

People who push in front of me in the bus queue. It's always annoyed me but it does so even more now as if there are no seats anywhere I'll make a point of making them move anyway so I can sit down because I'm wearing him. It was the same when I was pregnant. Everyone would push in front of me to get on the bus and sit on the priority seats and then I'd come on and be like "yeah, excuse me, I'm pregnant, shift it" kind of thing.

Badly planned shops. Claire's accessories has always irritated me by their small shops and bloody stands of earrings and glasses cases and whatever that you knock off when edging through but with a pram don't even dream of getting in the shop and babywearing I just knock everything off and can't bend down to pick it up!

People who push past you in the street or just walk into you. Again, it's more of an issue because I babywear but for example, today I was walking down the street and there was tonnes of room as it was in the middle of town in the pedestrianised bit and this girl just walks past me on the phone with her handbag on her elbow and slams it straight into my babys leg!! She didn't even turn round to see what she'd snagged her bag on, just kept going. OH gets really wound up when he's wearing Theakston as people just seem to make a beeline for you and shove into you and he's like "Can't you say I have a f**king baby!?!"

People asking me if she is sleeping through yet! And then saying things like 'oh, I was really lucky, my babies all slept through from when they were **insert ridiculously early age**'

OMG Claires accessories really cracks me up. I can't get my pram into that stupid shop. Next is just as bad!!!

Also gets me is people that close the door on you even though they see you struggling with the pram. It is so hard soemtimes to get the pram through heavy doors on your own

yes! im sure i asked people that myself in the past ... oops

People parking on pavements or blocking them with bins, car vacs/jet washes etc. OH has been known to deliberately scratch / kick cars when squeezing the buggy through or having to walk round on the road. i tend to just glare and tut (as if the owner can somehow pick up my annoyance through the car ...)

I agree with most of these, the bins on the pavements, people pinching parent & child parking, shops that you can't get the pram around.

Another one of mine is people smoking in the street. I am a smoker but would never subject my LO to it. Folk always seem to blow out smoke just as you are walking by with the pram.

People walking straight towards you when lo is in a sling.

People clapping and clicking at river like she is a fricking dog!

People who look at river teething necklace and then look at me like I'm a freak

When people ask if she is sleeping through or if she is a good baby

People thinking that she is a doll to be passed around

People saying oh she'l be crawling/walking/talking in a few months..well most likely she won't so then it will be people saying oh shoukdnt she be crawling walking/talking

Now replace the people with inlaws and that's the real answer lol
