Parents who block the road at tesco/asda because they assume your going to steal a P&C space before they can get into it, no I have legs, I just want to get my car past so I can park it somewhere and get the shopping over and done with.

Pregnant women who refuse to move out your way because they are pregnant, your legs still work right?

Folk who park their prams in the middle of the isle with the break on while they stare right past you as you say 'excuse me!'

Folk with prams that can't move it over a bit in a lift and let you get in with your pram.

Folk carrying baby about in a car seat and swing it about without looking.

And the worst.... competitive parents. I don't actually care that your 6month old can do the full Beyonce dance routine and can already spell his name.
everything she said!!!!!!!

The parent and child parking spaces really annoys me as well, I think I've got into one ONCE, it also annoys me that our Asdas has a massive car park and there are only 8 parent and child spaces.

Other parents, for sure! Especially a) the ones who think obnoxious/self-centered behaviour is okay because they've reproduced and b) the ones that assume that because I have a child now, I'll suddenly care about the new episodes of Yo Gabba Gabba.

People shouting at Harvey. He's young, not deaf.

Random strangers (usually older ladies) touching him while we're out.

Shops that you can't get the buggy round, strangely our local Mamas & Papas is really bad for this.

When Harvey gets gurny in someone else's arms and I tell them he'll be hungry then they start bouncing him around saying, "Are you hungry? Is your mummy starving you?" Well I wouldn't be if you'd hand him over so I could feed him!

Ooh good thread!

I have a few new pet hates:
1. Able-bodied people using lifts - WHY??? It takes longer than the escalators and it's not like you even have to walk up them, you just stand there.
2. Why are the baby sections of stores always located upstairs or in the basement?
3. Narrow pavements, kerbs with no ramps, bins left blocking the pavement.
4. People leaning in over the pram and talking loudly to Thomas/smacking their lips at him/etc. when he is clearly just about to go to sleep.

I have a real issue with not being able to get the pram round a shop, there are many shops in town that i havent been in since she was born! The classic is when i was in mothercare, and i heard one member of staff talking to the manager whilst they were putting up new displays about how they needed to leave room for buggies and the manager said no we dont have to worry about that! So now we cant get round most of mothercare either!!!
Oh and why do people use the lifts if they are able bodied??? I went to lakeside and the escalators are everywhere but so many go in the lifts, meaning people with prams or wheelchairs have to wait!!!
Yes, why do all stores put their baby clothes upstairs???!!!!!
People with buggies who think they have the right of way no matter where u are, and even when u dive out the way, there is no thank u!!
Round here gangs of teenagers using up the whole pavement meaning nine times out of ten i have to take the buggy on the road!
GRRRRRRRR

People looking at you like you're a loon for feeding your child - bear in mind I FF, so it's not a BF issue, but if Earl is hungry and we're out I'll find a bench and feed him........I get some fantastic looks and even 1 woman who told me that 'he'll get fat if you keep feeding him' I'm so confused

People telling me I 'shouldn't be out' as he's too young. Ermmmmm he's 4.5 months. What are we supposed to be recluses until he's a grown man? lol

Layouts of shops for me too. The other day we went to BHS and we were going to have lunch in their cafe. It was on the top floor and the only way to get to the lift was to go outside and come in through another door, then walk half a mile to the back of the shop, take 2 seperate lifts then walk back again Never doing that again and I got sneered at for asking how too

I hate to say it, but other mums with pushchairs can really piss me off as they seem to think they own the flipping pavementt, run into your ankles, bash into you, stop right in front of you, grrrr....I'm sure it isn't any of you ladies but you'd think they'd be better!

Oh yeah, and family members buying us their ideas of what a baby needs....Earl does not need a backpack )One word......vouchers!! lol
