Argh, random people wanting to hold her / stroke her cheek when we are out. Not during the winter months, PLEASE!

Oh, and people on public transport tutting before we've even got on. They, too, were once babies!!

Special - am with you on the teething necklace. Had a few looks as if to say 'hmmmmm'. I always end up explaining 'no, she doesn't sleep in it...it's not for fashion, it's for teething...yes, I always watch her when it's on....'

Yes, Mum2B - how would they feel if a stranger loomed right up in their face, grinning maniacally?!

I know. When people stop you in the supermarket and want to touch your baby - whats that about, its like dear god don't touch her!!! Before I had my baby I would look as I walked by and would smile but wouldn't touch a baby of someone I didn't know.

Also random people I don't know want to ask you personal questions since you have a baby like - do you breastfed. What a personal question!!! A checkout assistant asked me this last week in front of a queue of people.

Other parents.

Sorry, but just because you have a child doesn't mean the world starts revolving around you.

eg, woman pushing past me to get into the baby changing area because she just assumed that I was walking an almost 5year old in there for the sake of it. No I was changing his nappy.

Parents who block the road at tesco/asda because they assume your going to steal a P&C space before they can get into it, no I have legs, I just want to get my car past so I can park it somewhere and get the shopping over and done with.

Pregnant women who refuse to move out your way because they are pregnant, your legs still work right?

Folk who park their prams in the middle of the isle with the break on while they stare right past you as you say 'excuse me!'

Folk with prams that can't move it over a bit in a lift and let you get in with your pram.

Folk carrying baby about in a car seat and swing it about without looking.

And the worst.... competitive parents. I don't actually care that your 6month old can do the full Beyonce dance routine and can already spell his name.

people walking into the pushchair like i appeared thru a cloud of smoke.

looking at LO and saying oooh he dosnt look like you is he yours ??? 'ERMMMM i do think he is i have the marks to prove it u wanna see' always seem to get funny looks at that 1 tho

Ohhhhhhhhh, I've ranted about them before...I'm just going to start saying outrageous things when I next hear the competitive parent. Something like 'oh yes, DD has just written a violin concerto and requested souffle for supper'. I think it's such an unattractive quality, bragging. One thing being a proud parent - that's lovely, but bragging/competition is just hideous!!

Sooooooooo true! It's like your bodily functions have become public property! I've even been asked about pelvic floor in public. I nearly floored the person asking (pun intended, lol!)
