First Mother's Day :)

I'm so happy to be celebrating my first Mother's Day with Abby tomorrow. It seems unreal that I'm a mummy now!! Lol. It would be lovely to get a wee card or a little present or something but I really have a feeling OH will forget and let the whole day go unnoticed

Oh well, I'll just steal lots of lovely kisses and cuddles from LO. Do you think your OHs will do anything nice for you for Mother's Day?

No!!

I was chatting to a friend on the phone the other day and mentioned really loudly that it was mother's day on Sunday and I hoped OH would get me a nice surprise, he muttered 'Hallmark holiday' under his breath so I am not too optimistic!

My OH has got me something. Only because I kicked up a right fuss LOL.

I will get spoilt tomorrow, lots of cuddles from my Tutti. I'll make sure of it.

My DH actually asked me what I wanted for mothers day

I told him it doesn't really work like that, you're meant to surprise me lol!

I'd be happy with just a lie-in and a nice card from LO that I can keep.

My OH is a darlin' i know he's got me something. I can't believe im a mummy now - its just blood fantastic!

I already got mine! I got some flowers and a little card that said 'I love you mummy and I am sorry I can't sleep yet!'. So sweet!

Maybe my LO will give me the best gift of all by not waking up four times tonight. On the other hand....

ETA: I didn't leave it to chance. I made it quite clear to OH that 'Abigail' had better not forget mother's day lol!

I have been reminding my husband for months, and it has paid off - La and he got me a little doll charm for my charm bracelet (from my little girl) and he booked an appointment for me to have my hair cut tomorrow, for the first time in 9 months (it REALLY needs doing!). YAY!

ETA the best present is my little girl though.
