how much does LO weigh at 7 weeks?

scarlett was 7lb 3oz when she was born and today at 7 weeks exactly is 9lb 5 oz. She has been gaining about 6 oz a week and the last couple of weeks I noticed she is everso slightly moving away from the pink line in her book and today the health visitor actually came up and started asking how much she eats etc because she only put on 2 oz

The baby on the mat next to her was a lot bigger than her and weighed 12 oz more despite being a week younger,. I know I shouldn't get hung up on what other babies are doing but they seem to eat more, weigh more and go longer between feeds. She's colicky so sometimes hard to get food into her because of the screaming and at night times she will only take 1.5-3 oz each time she wakes. Also she trickle feeds aaaaaaaall day so it's hard to tell how much she actually has but she probably only eats the same amount as some babies did when they were newborn.

Anyone else's LO gaining a little slowly?

Lola is 10 weeks old and approx 9.5 - 10lb (I've not had her weighed for 2 weeks). She is following her line though!

She eats every 3-4 hours and usually has about 4 or 5 oz although sometimes in the night she only has little bits...my HV called it a snack and said it was a good thing because the fact she didn't need much meant that she might drop a feed in the night (which she has this week

)

i wouldnt worry about the amount they are gaining, as long as they dont lose weight then its fine. Some babies are just meant to small. Also they have growth spurts so their weight is not a steady amount each week. I know what you mean about comparing to other babies, i do it all the time. Sydnee was early & i get so many people who comment about how small she is, i hate it.

Jessica was 7lb 1 at birth and 3 weeks ago she was 9lb 7. Havent had her weighed again since then, but HV did say she thought she'd have put on more. But my friend whos baby was born a day earlier than Jessica and was 1 oz heavier is a pound lighter!!! I wouldnt go worrying about it, they all catch up in the end

My LO was 6 weeks premature and weighed 6lb exactly hes now 7 weeks and weighs 10lb 10oz

at birth he was 8lb 13 and i got him weighed at 8 weeks and he was 13lb 14...

still following his 91st percentile line

at birth Sapphira was 6lbs 1oz, at 8 weeks she was 12lbs!!!

my boys were 5lb4 and 5lb12 at birth and are now 8lb6 and 8lb6 x they eat about 120-150 ml every three hours and dropped a night feed last night for the first time x

ps I thought my boys were HUGE but see from this thread they are teeny for their age lol xx
