LO sleeps from about 8-9.30,10pm then 11pm for 3-4 hours then again another 3-4 hours (never 2 lots of 4 hours) so he gets around 8-10 hours sleep and I go to bed at 11pm so I get about 6 fall over quickly at 11 but not so easliy later on oh and I always wake up about 1.30am wondering why I am not up yet.

On a bad night it is 2.5 hour stretches but there are normally three of them and we dont get up till 9am

7 or 8 usually, in two blocks. Sometimes I get more, just depends. I don't really like sleeping longer than 8, but I'm not going to complain in case Molly changes her mind about sleeping so well

The first two months I probably got 4.

Reading all these replies makes me really appreciate what I get!

My LO sleeps from about 6:30pm to 6:30am! And I generally go to bed about 9:30pm.. (apart from tonight!) so get about 9 hours a night..

Why am I still so tired all the time!!???

Thanks ladies, this is interesting. Although I am envious of those getting a full 8 hours it's reassuring to know most of us are pretty much the same. I love my sleep but it is amazing how little sleep we can function on. Not sure I should be driving though...

About 5 hours all together. Amelie wakes about 3 times a night. I go to bed about 10.30pm, my alarm goes off at 5.15am. Ive had this much sleep for about 18 months now (last stages of pregnancy were SPD riddled) so pretty much used to it.
