I would look into one you can rear face for as long as possible. Look at the website carseat.se you can email them and they can let you know what will fit your car even. The Britax Multi tech and Two Way are great seats that rear face to 55lbs. It's soooo important to rear face for as long as possible

I posted something similar to this last week. You could get a Group 0+ car seat, we got one as Bethan was really cramped in her carseat, its rear facing until over the age of 9mths (cant quite remember what weight it said). It has made a great difference to her, took a couple of days for her to get used to it and now she is much happier. Only complaint is that even when it is completely reclined she still isn't as reclined as she was in the carseat from the travel system. As Mommyof3 said its best to keep them rear facing as long as possible as it is safer.

You certainly don't want to be looking at those ones - they are for babies over 9kg, whose bodies are much stronger. If you put your LO in those now and you had an accident then she wouldn't be protected very well, and could end up getting badly hurt even in a minor bump.

What I did when Izzy was too big for her infant carrier was get a duel facing one, then a few weeks ago she moved forward facing into the Tobi.

You can see some duel facing ones from Mothercare here http://www.mothercare.com/b/44451031...s=global-top-7

for oh car (in the sale at chirstmas) we bought the Britax first plus which is from newborn until 4 - does extended rear facing.

The best bit is it comes with a great newborn insert which stopped her lolling around. She dosen't use it now as 16lb 11oz but I put a sickie next to her head to stop any movemnt,
