Crying when left with DH

Ladies, hope you can help with any ideas on this issue..

My LO is now nearly 15 weeks old and quite bright and alert and usually a calm happy little boy.

However lately hes developed this thing where when he's left with his Daddy (eg if i go out shopping) after a while he starts whimpering and then ending up screaming. DH tries his best with doing all the usual, calm him down by holding him or feeding but it just doesnt seem to work. He only seems to calm down when I finally hold him..
Have I spolit him by holding him too much? But I dont know what too much holding is... and can he be spolit at this age?
What would you do to calm him???

my 15 week old is the same hun! if he sees me walking out the room when he is left with someone he cries even with his dad!! maybe its just a phase where they feel clingy to mummy?? im the one at home with him all day while OH works so maybe its cus he is used to me more being the main carer for him?? xx

My little boy (who is younger than yours) does exactly the same, he hates being held or left with anyone but me or my mum (who sees him three times a week for a few hours) saying that though my dad and brother can also settle him but hubby and his family stand no chance. Its really odd. Can only offer the same advice I as given by others on here and get oh to do little things like changes or drying after a bath to get him used to oh again. I doubt you've spoilt him, your just his mummy and the centre of his world.

My son is exactly the same...he must smell that I leave the house for 5 mins to pop something in the post etc and starts to scream and scream. Hubby can't do anything to calm him down.
On the other hand, LO got no problem being with hubby in the morning when I have a lay in...How weird is that?!

I got no advice for you hun. I'm sry. Just the feeling that you're not on your own. x
