Phil and Ted Vibe - are they worth the money?

As we are going to start TTCing in September I've been looking at double prams in case we get lucky and conceive in a short space of time. The one that comes out the best by far on all the reviews is the Vibe by Phil and Ted (http://www.fabulousmommy.com/wp-cont...y-stroller.jpg). The problem is it's £500! Which is a huge amount of money. I would be selling my current pram and my Mum has said that when we do have another that she will give us money towards a new pram but it's still a HUGE amount of money. I spoke to my sister-in-law who is a pram junkie and she said that her biggest pram regret was not just buying one of these as soon as she had her second has she reckons that she has gone through so many other prams and wasted loads of money.

But £500 is still £500! Is it really worth that much money?!? Even second hand on ebay they are over £300.

hey hun, i've heard fab things about it too. my friend had two babies close together and smartly got it for her first

what about if you sell your old pram (as you say) and deduct that off the price of the second hand ebay one so its less of a cost and then maybe try and save the amount left to to pay for the vibe over the next 15 months which is the earliest you'd need it?

i.e if you got £50 for your current pram (i have no idea if thats realistic or not) then thats 250 to find over 15 months so is about £17 per month. not sure if that would be more do-able?

just trying to look a it from another perspective for you
