Emma, he had the op on a Tuesday afternoon and they let us go home on Thursday night (when we came home he was taking 2.5fl oz every 3 hours) I'd say by the Sunday he was back up to where he was before.

I just had flashbacks of covering myself from the neck down with a towel before each feed! Not good times!

Shes having 2.5 3 fl oz at the moment and this is 4 days after op. haven't seen her little scar yet.
Hahahah i was the same! there would be towels all over me and the floor and anything it could hit!

Yeah it took us a good 5-6 days until we were nearly back to normal.

We upped the feed by half a fl oz and if he kept that down for 2 feeds we upped it by another half, etc etc.

Has she got a lil scar just above her belly button? Bens kinda curves like a semi circle above it. The strips of paper came off after 1 day so they left it off. We bathed him 4 days after as he hadn't had a bath in over a week!!!

Lol Izzy hasn't had a bath little stinker, gonna wait till tomorrow then its been 5 days so they cant moan if somethings up. The little plaster thing hasn't come off yet so i haven't seen it. x

I am sorry you got fobbed off so much! Otter had PS, too. It was awful!

He had surgery for it at 3 weeks and that was hard, too. But within a couple of days after surgery, he was a brand new baby!

No more vomitting and VERY little spit up since then. He is 7.5 months old now and weighs 26 lbs!

I guess she had the op and everything went well!

I was fighting the tears, I hated having to leave her

But glad shes all better. Just wanna get her back up to normal feeds and i will be over the moon.
The last time i fed Izzy was the friday afternoon and they wouldn't let me till the sunday evening, She wouldn't even look at me! Haha she really didn't like me, But now shes all better you cant stop her smiling
