Sick or hormonal when period returned?

For those of you who's period returned postpartum, did you feel sick or hormonal when it was approaching? I've been feeling queezy/lightheaded, VERY tired, and a bit emotional this past week, actually I feel the same way I felt when I found out I was pregnant but since we are using condoms along with bfing I really don't think I'm pregnant. I'm wondering if I can attribute it to my period returning soon. I feel quite hormonal.

WOW! I never knew to expect this!!! It's so good to hear your experience. I got a BFN this morning (thank goodness!) haha. So I guess I will be expecting my period soon. Until then I guess I will be on the couch until this passes

Still interested to hear other people's experiences, how did you feel when your period returned?

From what I hear they are usually different from before, either longer or shorter but heavier periods seem to be common.

I'm bumping this thread...

Still curious as I still feel like mush. It's been 3 weeks now and still no period and I got a BFN so not sure if my body is taking a long time to get a period again or what the problem is. I also feel it more after I breastfeed and I get a hot flash for awhile. Anyone know?

Hi there!

My LO is the same age as yours and I'm BF too and I've been feeling exactly the same this week! I ran to the loo wretchingthis morning and was a tad worried as I had really bad morning sickness through my pregnancy last time!

I've had a slight show (sorry TMI!), but am waiting for the worst!

My monthly migraine seems to have returned too

xxx
