Do you ever feel pressure to 'produce' enough? I'd like to do this but sometimes only get 2oz when I pump!

Not really. I did at first and I had to just get my head around it, Molly is always the priority so I make sure she has enough and when she's spurting I often have to abandon the pumping at night and start from scratch and some days I struggle to get an oz! I just try to remember that even a little bit is something. The lady who I organised donating through calls from time to time and is such a lovely person, she's great at making me feel like it's all OK and to go at my own pace.

My friends baby was in NICU and had donated breastmilk, she said the difference was immediate in her little girl from having formula. I would love to get involved, how do you find out where your local bank is?

For some reason I'd thought they would only take large amounts, but what you've said has got me thinking! I had thought I didn't produce enough for this. Wondering vaguely about continuing to express when LO starts on solids / feeds less so my supply is the same and donating the rest ... but I'll be going back to work when he's 9/10 months old. Hmmm.
do they ask you keep it in a separate drawer of the freezer? or just the container?

Just the container. But, as I said, you'll need to start before 6 months and amount isn't a problem. So long as you're sure and dedicated as the initial bloodwork costs them over £100.
