I voted morissons but Asda are just as good. I bought Pampers for my 1st son and they leaked terribly so switched to own brand then i tried Huggies with my 2nd son and they were crap too so from then on i have used own brand.

Although at the moment I'm only using pampers baby dry, I used lots of the Sainbury's ones and they are very good! I'm planning to go back to them once I go through all the pampers I bought during the baby sale!

I voted Pampers. I did try Tesco's own brand and they were plain awful. I had a wet baby as soon as he had wee.
And because tesco's in the only supermarket near by I never considered trying any other supermarket brand.

I put pampers only, but i have tried other store brands with my daughter and every time i just thought the absorbency was not as good as huggies or pampers and you could smell the urine from them more as well. Asda do a fairly good deal on the pampers box's so every pay day i get two boxes and they normally last till next pay day x

I use cloth during the day, so only wear a disposable nappy when he's asleep, and I've just always had pampers baby dry. I just buy them when they're on offer at baby events, so pay similar to own brand prices.

Seems pretty conclusive that boots haven't got th first clue about making nappies lol!
Asda little angels have been superb! And pampers baby dry also!

It seems that it depends on baby to baby ad we all have different figures as to whether or not one brand suits better than another!

Didn't realise it would cause such a debate but it's an eye opener! X

I would like to thank the OP for this thread

This is my first real look in baby club since I am due any day now i figure I better have a nosey

I have loads of huggies newborn boxes bought for like 50p and £1 in the baby event with vouchers And I have loads of pampers in size 1 and 2 bought on great offers (and of course i had to buy pampers at boots to get the changing bag but they were money off as well) I think overall I have spent less than £25 on nappies and have like 400 or so I am certainly stocked up for quite a while anyway. But it is really nice to read this thread because as you can tell by the way i have stock piled nappies that are cheap I am a bargain hunter/cheapskate (whichever lol) so I would have certainly considered own brands at some point in the future. I have a 24 hour Asda so close to my house so it is great to know that if need be, i can nip over and get a pack and it not cost the earth (dont think i will ever buy name brand without a offer but there seem to be hundreds of offers all the time) Also, our main shopping place is Tesco because the clubcard points and the fact that hubby works there so we get 10% off all we spend So it is also good to know that Tesco aren't bad either. When i run out of (or LO grows out of) the hundreds that I have in the house, I will most likely buy a pack of tesco and a pack of asda and see which work best for my LO.

Thanks for the advice ladies!
