Snuggle nest?

Anyone got one? Are they any good?

I'm worried about straight out co-sleeping with LO as he was borderline low birth weight and that is one of the "risk" factors that make it unsafe. However, from what I gather snuggle nests have hard sides so it's not possible to roll onto baby and moulded sides stop baby rolling etc so I'm really considering getting one. xx

I think purpledahlia uses one, and serina had one...

I've got one to list in the forsale section, but cant really comment about how useful they are as we only used it a couple of times before H decided she would only sleep on her front

i hate mine, used once never again!!!! its WAY too wide for a double bed unless you are skinny as heck. you have no room and no duvet and LO was just as unsettled as in her basket because she likes the physical contact which they dont get. i didnt get on with it.

I used one and I agree it doesnt leave much room at the sides, but I did feel safer esp while my baby was little. As she has grown we dont use it anymore and she lies between us instead. Using it definitely takes away the worry factor though!

I do have one, And i love it! i reccommend it!

Ava is actually in the cot for the first time tonight, because shes now 13lb and wriggles like hell and last night managed to wriggle off the nest, somehow,

but it DEF made me feel better about having her in my bed, she could see me and was settled, i could just reach over if she needed a bit of comfort or something. Im sad shes growing too big for it!

I have one, I love it. Carmen's going through a phase right now where she won't sleep anywhere but my arms for longer than an hour, but when she's actually willing to sleep in her nest it's great! I have a twin-size bed and it fits just fine, even though my pillows end up half hanging off the side. lol

I don't have one as it would be a complete waste of money as Lucas will only sleep with me holding him, not if he is just lying in bed next to me x

Is it not possible to let them sleep on their front in it? I have never seen one in person, so don't know.

I'd imagine it can be used for front sleepers too, its just a small mattress with a barrier around the top?
