i was totaly put off having anymore children after i had zane because of the way i was treated by my hospital and then the situation i was in after i left hospital wasnt great so it really ruined the whole experience and put a real strain on me.

its only recently that ive actualt decided i want another baby but still im not totaly sure.

like others have said uve just had ur baby so theres plently of time. im still far too busy enjoying zane to even think about tryin for a baby just yet.

my oh bought up having another baby while i was in labour! men just really dont think sometimes lol

That's how I felt when mine was dinky, too. But give him till he's a toddler before you write off #2 completely

PS - there is NOTHING cuter than a 3yo talking to your Bump

Same as Vici- I hated pregnancy, said during labour I would rather due than do it again but I'd have another now if my hubby let me! He thinks i'm crazy, I'm hoping it's just hormones!

DH and I had a conversation yesterday about how Rebecca may well be an only child!!

It may change in time but at the moment the idea of #2 is a big no no!!

Hm. After having my son 7 years ago i was adamant i wasnt having anymore children. The thought of it scared the crap outa me. i didnt have a very good labor and everything from being cut, to pushing him out has gone round in my head for 7 years whenever anyone said are you going to have another.

I always felt that i would never be able to share the love between 2 children as well which everyone told me was silly but its how i felt

Then i found out i was pregnant with chloe and i'm not going to lie, i pooed my pants again(she was a surprise).it took me until my 1st antenatal appointment to come round to the idea as i was quite scared. I think around mid pregnancy was when i actually accepted that yes i was going to have to do labor again but everyone again kept telling me how different labors are and mine would defo not be like my 1st. so i set about making it better in my head with organising a water birth and everything to help me through labor.

Well that all went out the window at 40 weeks when i was told i was high risk and had to deliver at hospital. So my labor was great, but everything else after was 100 times worse than my 1st labor. with my 1st labor i only had to deal with healing from being cut afterwards but this time round everything that could go wrong, went wrong and on that note i am NEVER have anymore kids ever again. i have one of each which i consider myself to be extemely lucky and they are both healthy and bright as buttons.

As much as i love my children and yes there is plenty of love for both of them i just couldnt go through all that again. a month in hospital and i am still recovering mentally AND physically

So hence is why i am gettin steralised just to make doubly sure it wont happen again

I'm not 100%. I always said I wanted only the one but I seem to change my mind every day. Nothing's put me off having more but like someone else has said, I can't imagine being able to share myself between them, and want to dedicate myself to him 100%. I don't want to rule it out but I'm not broody or anything either. I'm looking into the pracicalities of it just in case I change my mind but even if I did I wouldn't even think of TTC until next year.

I waited 10 years after having my first child to have another baby. What a reality check. At 10, he is so independent! I am happy I waited because I wasn't with the right partner. After getting married and having my 2nd son, I wanted to have another right away before I got cold feet. My two younger ones will be 17 months apart. So from both perspectives, I know what you mean.
