Being sick/green poo

For the past 2 weeks Liams been bringing up most of his feeds and nearly all of his poo's are dark green the others are a mustard colour! He's quite grumpy at the moment but hes also dribbling loads and chewing on everything so i think thats because of early teething plus hes just got over having his first cold so i dont think its a stomach bug but i could be wrong! I cant get hold of my HV so thought you ladies might be able to help.

I've heard that dribble can make poo green - not sure if it's true, but green poo always seems to coincide with Alice being especially dribbly. I think it's also a sign of milk that hasn't quite digested fully. Maybe he's getting rid of the excess by being sick too? Worth mentioning to your HV when you can get in touch, but don't worry too much.

Green/yellow poo is normal from what I have read/heard and as far as the spitting up it sounds like it is probably from his cold. Maybe you could feed him small amounts often to keep him from getting sickly?

I thought green poop meant the LO was getting too much foremilk and not enough hind milk? Just done a quick search;

http://www.babycentre.co.uk/baby/dai.../yourbabyspoo/

Green poo Says Vicky Pigott: "If your baby's stools are green and frothy she may be taking in too much lactose (the natural sugar found in milk), which happens if she feeds often, but doesn't get the rich milk at the end of the feed to fill her up. It may also be caused by overfeeding or underfeeding, or is a sign that your baby has a stomach bug."

Is your LO bf?
