how long does/did ur little ones sleep for at night?

Mya has always been a good night time sleeper which we are so greatful for.

Up till a week ago she would go down about 10 ish n sleep till 6 have a feed then go off till 10 again.

well a week ago she had a bad night, well would prob sound like a dream to some but for her it was a bad night, she wouldnt settle till 2am and considering she only has 10 min cat naps in the day this was very odd.

well since then she is going to sleep at 8pm and not waking till 6am sometimes 8am.

Now i know this is a great thing for her to be sleeping thru and last time she was weighed she was puttin on great BUT she is only a month old today and i am now a little concerned as she has maybe 5 5oz bottles in the day (will only drink 4ozs on some). Do u think she is getting enough to eat???

I know she is prob sleeping longer at night as she doesnt sleep much in the day, as i said she has 10 min cat naps on a good day, but didnt think it was normal at this age to sleep so long with out a feed .

how long did ur lo's sleep for at night at this age???

As long as she is gaining weight then it should be fine. You may find that in a week or so she realises that she's missing out a feed and start waking again or want more during the day. She may have just settled herself into her own routine, Brady had some crazy nights just before he started sleeping through as well.

At a month old Ava slept A LOT! Basically about 2/3's of the day through and all night sometimes. As long as your baby is gaining weight and seems happy I wouldn't be concerned. It isn't until about 3 months that a baby becomes actually active.

thanks ladies

she is now doing an odd thing going down at 8pm one night waking for a feed at 12 then sleeping till 7am then the next night not setteling till 2am and sleeping will 9am.

she keeps alternating each night BUT the night she settles earlier she's been asleep all day and the night she doesnt shes been awake loads. which i thougt would be the other way round but no its not lol.

She seems like she is happy in herself and i will be getting her weighted on wednesday but i'm sure she is still putting on x

Sounds about the same as my lil one. Ruby is 8wks old and settles 10pm till 6.20am, has her bottle and then sleeps again till about 10.30am. During the day she sleeps in fits n starts, but is awake more now, although a few weeks ago her pattern was very much like your Mya's with the alternating, then one night the pattern just suddenly became consistent.
