sorry only just seen this after your pm jac, tbh the doomoo is gorgeous but even at 6 months eden looked huge in it! they are great for older kids to sit up in and watch tv (my 4 year old loved it) and stuff but for babys to sleep in they look quite short, oh and eden sweated so much in it, dunno why that was

this is eden at 4 months sitting in hers and as you can see her feet where near the bottom of it.
the harness isnt very secure, you cant really fasten it tight around them so i think an older baby could easily squirm there way outta it.

i will be watching this thread cos im having the same problem, the only seat ive seen that holds heavier babys are the baby bjorn babysitter which goes upto 2 years and holds upto 28lb

Thanks Nik.....Hmmm
she does look big in it.....

Leo is already 24lbs, so another 4lbs and he would be at his limit in the bjorn..arghhhh!

I'm stuck all over again then

The Fisher Price one is very sturdy, I think a lot of the reviews are based on old designs as there have been a few. My cousin gave me one that lasted all of her 3 boys (oldest is 6 now) and Brady is fine in it and we have tipped it forward and played with it to see if there's anyway he could rock himself over and I cant see it. That one lives at my parents now and I've just bought another one as they were on sale at Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fisher-Price...6015267&sr=8-1 even the picture on here is an older design, the seat design is the same but it actually has a different back bar and the feet things at the front stick out much further on my one than the one pictured here.

The one Pinksnowball mentioned is an even newer design, I haven't actually seen it but it looks a bit lower to the ground so would probably be even better.
