After injections

How were your babies after their injections? Zach has had his today and just wondered what other peoples experiences were.... Zach seems to be quite drowsy and has gone to bed (so far) but had been stirring alot. Did your LO suffer more the next day? Or not at all?

Yep, it just made Charlie quite sleepy and a bit grumpy but it didn't seem to go into the next day.

2nd lot of injections i find affect them more than the 1st. Al 3 of mine were fine after the 1st lot but a bit out of sorts and sleepy after the 2nd lot. Cant remember about the 3rd lot!

My LO got them at 10 a.m. and was very unsettled and out of sorts in the afternoon, I gave him a small bit of Calpol and it settled him to sleep. He was fine the next day.

Hazel was 'fine' but its totally messed her up. She was sleeping 7 hours at night, since shes woken up 1-2 hours after going down, which was unheard of, and then almost ever hour since

Emma's first set was in the morning and she ended up sleeping pretty much the entire day and wanted to comfort nurse the whole time too. She had a fever but that went away within a few hours. The second set she was perfectly normal and had no reaction. Wasn't even sleepy.

For the first lot my LO was upset for the rest of the day, crying a lot - I gave her calpol twice that day - but she still went to bed and slept through as normal. For the second lot she never bothered at all. She is getting her third lot next Thursday. Its supposed to be three injections but I've asked to have only 2 done and the other 1 the following week as I think 3 at one time is just too much
