Where does your baby take daytime naps?

Curious. I just put my baby in her crib for a nap (she was falling asleep after her feed), and she woke up and started to fuss. I think it's mostly because she hates to be put down anyway, but I was just wondering where others' little ones take their naps?

Summer naps in her cot, same as when she goes to bed at night, its good to keep it consistent, that way LO knows that cot is for sleeping, i dont give Summer toys whilst she's in there either otherwise she will get confused when i put her in there.

Good point about keeping it consistent so that they associate crib - with sleep. I totally agree! Thanks for answering.

So what about crib mobiles, then? Do you think that's a good idea? Or better to leave mobiles for a playpen/bouncy seat?

To be honest with you i gave up using a cot mobile, it kept her awake. All she has in there is her dummy and a little rag doll her nana bought her, she cuddles up to it and goes to sleep in about 1-2 mins, sometimes quicker. I just like to keep playtime for when she's awake and out of bed, but bear in mind my LO is older than yours. Although the cot mobile was gone when she was 5 months old x

Phoebe sleeps in her pushchair for her nap, she would never go in her cot during the day and would literally scream blue murder, put her in her pushchair and she goes straight to sleep.

We never have the problem with going in the cot at bedtime though, she just goes straight down with no crying, I have a fussy child!

Same here she will only sleep in her push chair for day time naps as I have to rock her to sleep. Night time she will sleep no problem in her cot.
Up to 3 months however she would nap in her travel cot in the living room.

sometimes she naps on me and we'll nap together, sometimes she naps in her swing, sometimes she naps on her papa, or in the crook of his arm while he reads, sometimes she naps on the bed. sometimes she naps in her sling while i wear her. she's a good napper. she knows that it's nighttime and time to sleep because we swaddle her, feed her, and we are sleeping too. she sleeps at night from 9pm-1am and then 1:30-6am or sometimes she sleeps in till 8:30am or so!
