I know this is completely unrelated to the thread, but seriously, I have struggled with dry and cracked hand skin for years and the best thing for it is body shop hemp hand protector cream. I give it to all new mummies as a present because it softens them up again straight away. Bit pricey but a tube will last you ages!

Sorry there was a spelling mistake in my other post. Its from the Body Shop, and it is their hemp hand protector cream. Comes in a silver and green tube. Its about £8-10 a tube, but you only use a tiny bit each time. I definitely recommend it!

Here's a link:

If I'm not allowed to put a link, I'm sorry, and just remove it.

Im blessed to have an incredibly good baby.

The only things for me is not all babies have dummies, from seeing babies on tv they always seemed to have a dummy i thought it was normal, i bought one for skye and she is just not interested at all, so that was that lol.

And clothes - i did buy a few pretty outfits/dresses etc .. but shes more happy in just a sleepsuit or jeans and a top, and most of the time i cba with matching outfits and that.

Every cup of tea i make goes cold too, i just forget to drink it because im having too much fun playin with my lo.

I didnt expect she'd headbang her way to sleep, I agree with reflux too...omg!

I didnt expect even preemie nappies to be too big, poor lil soul literally had a cotton ball for the first few days of her life!

I didnt realise what my mum had to go through with me til now.

I didnt realise that this would be far harder than working!

I didnt realise having my tea without an inturruption would be very rare!

That your babies poo will actually smell just as bad as your OH's.
That you will still buy your -3month old toys and they will still stare at the big light
That some days you will wake up and you really can't be bothered & thats when you realise babies really are hard work
That no matter how long you hold there nappy on them whilst changing they always wee on you when your not looking
That you will never moan about the washing you used to have to do ever again
That you will realise you can't just go to your mates stay for a drink then say '' actually we will have a couple more and stop the night'' lol NO MILK, NO CLOTHES, NO COT etc
That even if someone else is looking after your baby you will not be able to get really really drunk and stupid
You will look at everyone elses baby and think... hmmm my baby is so much cuter ()
That everytime you get your baby settled and he stirs your thinking ''DONT WAKEE UPPP!!! ''
That you will feel so much stronger cause you have someone to fight for
That every time you feed your baby he will look at you like ''thanks mom'' and make your heart melt

I had no idea I'd be trying to squeeze a shower in every few days... Always figured I'd shower when she was asleep. When she's asleep she's sleeping on me or OH and OH has work to do!
