Tricks to relieve constipation

Hi,
My little boy is normally very regular with about 3-4 pooey nappied a day, but he hasn't had a poo since Tuesday afternoon, and I'm worried he is constipated. I was wondering if there are any tricks we could try. I've currently got him naked on the rug in front of the fire so he can kick his legs and maybe that would get things moving. I have been feeding him Cow and Gate Hungry baby formula for the 7pm and 11pm feeds, otherwise he is on boob juice-could this have made a difference?

Any advice would be great.
Caroline and Alex xxxx

a bit of formula can make that difference, it can help to feed them water between feeds

Dylan was constipated when was breastfeeding and topping up with forumla. I gave him 1oz of cooled boiled water twice a day and that helped.

Great, thanks. I gave him 50:50 apple juice to boiled water on the advice of HV and to say that it worked would be an understatement. I've never seen so much poo!!! Lol.
