ava is poorly :( Update: a viruial infection


she has a virual infection thank god its nothing majorly serious x x x thanks for all the messages x x

Im going to the doctors at 2pm, she has a high temp (38.8) dislike of light, wont eat, and has been sick twice my poorly baby

ava keeps being sick and is very tired what should i do?

I'm a bit confused as to what you mean by sick? but I do agree with the above I'd go ahead and ring the doctors. Hope she feels better soon

Call NHS direct. We called them when Abigail was four days old. She was fine, we were just fussing as she had a runny nose but they were really great. I would give them a call.

I have a sick baby here as well. Has been puking since 12 this afternoon. Phoned the HV and was told to give him cooled boiled water. Its taken a while but he is sleeping just now and has been for 15 minutes. Am hoping he gets a good rest as i think it will do him the world of good.

You should phone NHS24 though if you are really worried. I will be doing the same if i see no difference in the next couple of hours.

Id ring nhs24 or ring your doctors and it should put you through to an out of hours doctor

She's a lot better then she was and has finally fallen asleep in her bed not on me! All day she wouldn't crawl or smile but she has been and even chatting so of she's not better by tomo I'll take her to the doctors if they ate even open with all this snow!!!
