The tantrums have began!

Yes-- quite early if you ask me. And yes- these are full fledged tantrums. He is so rough, that I am noticing he has bruises all over his chubby little legs. I am a stay at home mom and his primary caretaker. He flails around like a ragdoll and kicks and screams like a 2 year old. He is definately frustrated because he cannot communicate so we started practicing some sign language. How do you handle your LO's tantrums?

my daughter was the same started them very young if she become violent i would put her in her crib to calm down now aged 2 she has 2 sit on the naughty step takes a while for them to get used to but keeping it up helps also if you notice a tantrum coming just ignore it babies often do it for the attention so if you ignore him and give him lots of attention when being good he will try to get your attention in a differnt way hope that helps

Hannah has not yet done the flailing around, mostly screeching, crying and sometimes hitting at this point. We used to put her in a safe place (her crib) now we sit her in time out which has been pretty productive for us. Unfortunately I think your LO is probably to young for that
