He won't settle in moses basket at night

Jack will perfectly happily sleep in his moses basket in the day, but at night he hates it.

He will only seem to fall asleep in our arms and when we put him down he just wakes up again crying.

I don't understand why he hates it at night but is fine in the day?

Last night we only got about 2 hours sleep. I am exhausted!

Does anyone have any ideas?
Oh and Jack is 5 weeks today

Both Thomas and Caitlin hated their moses basket and would only sleep in it in the day. Caitlin was in a cot from 1 week old and Thomas from the day he was born, I dunno why it happens but i found putting them in the cot helped them sleep a lot better xx

I had this and found putting a fleecy blanket down on top of the sheet worked

Yeah my LO was in her cot with sleeping bags form 5/6 weeks as she didn't like the moses basket. She loves being able to move her arms around a lot and i think the moses was a bit restrictive for her!! x
