Bugaboo bee

If I can sell my quinny, I want to use the cash towards a bee.

Anyone with a bee have any pics with their LO's in it, all I can find online are pics minus babies, LOL!!!

Thanks

Thanks!

Yes, I'd definitely recommend the Bee, it's small and light but seems to be comfy for Adam - in the pics he's in the Baby Nest and he really is very cosy and snug in it. I reckon it'll last another few months, then I need to get a foot muff and think about adjusting the back so he can sit up.

It's easy to put up and down once the initial stiffness has eased off; in the beginning we didn't have the hang of the mechanism but once I read the booklet and realised what I was doing wrong, it was ok.

What I like best is that it's so compact, it fits in the boot of our Peugeot 206 easily, and I don't feel embarrassed taking it on public transport, or feel I'm the one taking up all the space in the wheelchair/pram area. It's also really manouvrable, which is great in shops. And it's lovely and smooth to push. Obviously it's not designed for rough terrain, but for getting about town it's great. There's a nice sized basket underneath as well.

One thing I need to learn to do is lock the front wheels because sometimes getting up and down kerbs and off buses, the whole thing veers the wrong way because of the front wheels being swivvle ones - great for in shops, not great when you're putting the whole weight of the thing on them and they're unstable. But that's easily sorted, I just need to dig out my handbook.

Plumfairy, thanks! I'd love to snuggle up in one as well. Oh to be a baby...

We got the buzz to keep at my Mum's house because I'm there for at least 3 days a week so she wanted to get one to keep there. Grandparents eh!! We thought it was fine weight wise in the shop but my mum finds it a bit of a pain having to take both wheels off, chassis in boot, then struggle to get the seat bit into the back of her car which is a 3 door. So basically we knew this as soon as we'd bought it so decided not to use it again so it's like new to sell.

Yeah I can't say I enjoy having to take the wheels off each time I put it in the car. Plus the seat and chassis basically fills our car boot. It's so quick to fold and open out though.

Yeah it is - loved the automatic unfolding!! It's strange because we tried it in my boot and we only had to take 1 wheel off and if we took the headrests off my back seats I could just slide the seat unit through, onto the back seat. But with my mums car (which is a 206 too but 2 years older), her boot is smaller so both wheels need to come off & you can't remove the headrests I'd make do if it was my main pram but for my mum, I know it'll just annoy her, esp when Emma is older x
