Nappy advice please

Heya

My lil girl is 7 weeks on thursday..she's about 8 n a half pound
We've gone from size 1 newborn to size 2 and not sure if we've gone up a size too early..
The size 1's really seem to mark her legs alot but the size 2 seem too big n when we just changed her nappy (size 2) her poo had gone all the way up the back of the nappy..
What size napy should we go for 1 or 2??

Ruby was in size 1 until she was about 10lb I think. However, IMO some poos will go all the way up the back of the nappy, no matter what size

My own opinion would be to go with the size 2 if the 1's are marking up her legs. And as long as your not having any leaks with the size 2's than they sound more comfortable for her!

Hiya, I'm a first timer so dont have much to say to be honest but the only thing I can suggest is have you tried other brands of nappies? We're using Pampers atm and tried the tesco ones which were a disaster for us but I've heard other people raving about good they are. They all seem to have a slightly different fit.

I'm swapping up to size 2 now as well, I've 1 packet of size 1 left but they are starting to mark my LO's legs now but she is about 10lb 4oz-ish now so according to the packet she is about the weight to go up a size. I think that it will all depend on the baby.

As Claire said, I think some poops will just go up the back (and front!) of the nappy, no matter how well they fit

Violet used to get markings on her bum and legs from the nappies but they were only marks like I get from wearing socks iyswim? They werent digging in and causing pain / soreness or bleeding etc.
