How?

How Long Is A 5 And A Half Week Old Supposed To Stay Awake For Usually In The Day??

And When They Are Awake, Apart From Talking To Them And Giving Them Hugs, What Is There You Can Do To Keep Them Amused?

He Tends To Stay Awake For About 3-4 Hours At A Time... Then Will Drop Off... And I Didn't Know If They Were Only Supposed To Stay Awake At A Few Hours At A Time?

At that age, Halen slept for most of the time and was awake for about an hour at 8am and then the rest of the day and night he just woke to feed, get his bum changed then go back to sleep. All babies are different though and if your baby seems happy and alert when she's awake then I wouldn't worry about it x

Ruby could stay awake for about an hour max at that age - happily I mean. She could stay awake longer but she would be unhappy and overtired.
