growth spurt...for both of us?!?!

DD is going through a growth spurt...she's been awake and pretty much nursing for the last 20 hours! She's not grizzly, bless her, just very hungry and wants cuddles.

However, is it normal that I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO hungry?! Seriously, I am so, so, so hungry...I could eat all the time?

I am trying to be relatively healthy and not stuff my face - want to eat enough kcals to ensure DD has good milk, but also so that I can lose excess baby weight in time. So, I normally eat about 300-400 kcals more than normal. DD is priority.

However, during growth spurt...I could literally eat all day. Is this normal!?

I was just reading up about growth spurts as I'm sure my LO is going through one at the mo too. And yes it is normal for you to be hungrier as you are burning up more calories with constant feeding. Also my HV said to me today that it is essential for mum's to eat plenty particularly during growth spurts.
So keep eating... without the guilt!
