I spend most of my day worrying

I honestly thought that when Ozzie was here the paranoia over something being wrong would end but it's still going.

Last night I was up at 1am googling rapid eye movement only to find out what I thought was something seriously wrong is actually normal. I feel like I'm going mad, I know my hormones are all over the place but I just can't stop panicking. My DH thinks I'm going crazy, it took all my will to send my DD back to school last week as I'm so worried she's going to catch swine flu. I think I need a good slap tbh

Please tell me this is hormonal and it'll stop?

Sending a big hug rather than a slap! And congrats on the birth of your son. I think when my baby was a week I was still crying at least twice a day over nothing, i think it is the same kind of thing, because the hormone changes after you give birth are pretty major! Plus it's so so normal to worry about stuff all the time, I don't know anyone who doesn't...Just get lots of hugs from your DH, try and enjoy your baby and I hope it will pass soon....

I spend an inordinate amount of time worrying, too. DH has said he's going to 'lock' google, so I can stop googling everytime I am worried.

I think it goes with the territory - but sometimes my worrying can just go mad!

You are not alone

I know how you feel. My girl is 8 days old (my first) and this has to have been the hardest week of my life! I just found/find it so hard to 'switch off'-ever! I am slowly getting there as if I didn't I would be in a nut house by now! But this is a good'ish day, who knows how I will feel tonight/tomorrow! x
