Question

Baby Einstein


Hiya,

Has anyone tried these, i've heard few people talking about them, but i have no idea what they do, i no there dvd's do you put your LO infront of tv and let them watch it, what does the dvd do for them? xxx

I have the full set of these but haven't put them on for him yet - I must start putting them on because at the moment JJ's tv viewing is mainly Jeremy Kyle (he loves it lol and shouts at the screen when they're fighting)

I do put Thomas the tank engine on and Happy Feet etc sometimes though and he watches them. not sure what they do for him tho

What do they do though? Whats the best one? Cos i dont wanna buy whole set, i've looked online on ebay and cheapest is £30 which is abt much for me, and theys ell them singlally and wondered which is best? xxx

Ive not been through them all as theyre for different ages too if youre going to get one id go for a musical one xx

I heard a thing on radio 2 about Baby Einstein last week. Apparently Disney are offering millions of refunds for parents in the US as they've proven they don't provide any extra educational value for babies. Here's an article on it

I've not got any baby einstein stuff so don't really know what its like. Have seen it in a few shops and been tempted. I also bought Poppy some cheap nursery rhyme and talk CD's for £5 at ELC and she is captivated by them! Music things always seems to be a big favourite!
