Sainsbury's sleepsuits - bizarre sizing issue!

I recently bought Adam two pack of sleepsuits at Sainsbury's, both in size 3-6 months, which is 62-68cm height. Adam is 63.5cm, almost 3mo, and just in the last few nights has burst out of the 0-3mo.

So tonight we got one out and OH started to put it on. Well! He shouted down to me that the babygro is massive on him and no way would he be comfortable. I thought, ah well, they're going to be a bit loose, but when I saw him - *shakes head*

So I decided to get the other packet out and compared them. It's bizarre. Both size 3-6 months but there is 10cm difference in the length of the sleepsuits. In fact, the bigger one is 66cm long - and meant to fit a baby max 68cm HEAD to heel, not 66cm shoulder to heel. The other is 56cm long.

I'm not sure what to do - take them back to Sainsbury's or email head office? I have to do something, it's a joke!

The sizing of baby clothes is worse than adults! I have sleep suits from Primark, Ethel Austin, Tesco and Asda that are all 6-9 month - and all but the asda ones fit - they are all huge. I also have separates pj's and they fit properly and are 6-9 months.

Asda's stuff is massive. But it also shrinks in the wash so that soon sorts it!!

I've had a few issue with Sainsbury's sizing being really weird too...
I would email head office definitely, they'll be able to look into the problem and see if its just one batch sized wrong...
Let us know how you get on.

That's so odd! I wouldnt take them back cos he'd grow into them but I would complian just in case I got some freebies! I've never had a problem with sainsburys clothes, I really like them and found them to fit well, looks like they mislabelled a batch or something?

Matilda is an average size baby (exactly 50th percentile) and at almost five months she is still in her Sainsburys 0-3 month babygrows.

I'm so glad someone else thinks this is odd! I was in there the other day and thought that the sleepsuits would be far too big.

That is odd. I have found their stuff tends to be larger than other places (along with Next) but for items the same age range to be so different is rediculous
