Starting to stay awake at night after feeds

The last few nights Chayce is starting to stay awake after feeds in the middle of the night!!!
He used to fall asleep after a feed/on boob, but never does now.
Why is this, its taking ages to get him back down and then Imup soon to feed again, he was sleeping really well but now back to 3hourly feeds.....aaarg.
Could hot weather be doing this?

He's still very young... my LO no way had a routine when he was that little
Some nights he's be a dream...but many a night around that age he used to stay awake for 3 hours or soemthing silly!

3 hourly feeds is not uncommon at this age either, babies so young still need milk during the night. It is hard but it will get easier

My LO was waking every 2-3 hours till 4 months old and still wakes during night now!

I would say the heat might have something to do with this. My LO wakes every 2-3 hours still but he does generally settle back down again. Even if he isn't asleep can you not put him down to self-settle or will he just cry?

He was self soothing but now we have to pick him up a few times and lay him back down, then he eventually goes back up.
Poor thing its so stinking hot today, got the air con in lounge but the rest of the house is so hot!!
Nice and cool for him in lounge though.
