hi my baby cut her first tooth only yesterday and for ages before this happened her gums felt all bumpy and dented iygwim, she was dribbly, a bit grumpy, off her food, chews everything, bites down really hard..... they are deffo teething signs..... its quite hard to tell from the picture but his gums do look a little bumpy. Other signs I have found with my baby is red cheeks often quite hot, sore bum (dont know why but older dd got this too) cold like symptoms (again older dd got this). Every baby is different but I would say he is teething x

They get nappy rash because the build up in saliva makes their stomachs think they're going to eat so it starts making acid but with no food to digest it comes out with their poo and irritates their skin x

I use dentinox teething gel and anbesol..... I swear by anbesol only just started using that though because it has a strong aniseed taste but she doesnt mind it now. Biccie pegs are also good for teething and a cold metal spoon!

I use the anbesol liquid as gels seems to move around with the saliva and not much ends up on the gum whereas with the liquid it soaks straight into the gum xx

Hi Celine
Long time no chat - how time flies when you have a baby! How are you doing?
I think the pics are gorgeous.
Matilda is the same and talking to other mums it could be early teething symptoms as they can start months before the actual teeth apply. I've also heard that the saliva can be due to the saliva glands kicking into action, getting ready for weaning.
Hx
