aaahhh what a lovely surprise, you lucky lady.. We took LO to Greece when he was 3 months old, the flight was good, we made sure the hotel had a cot for us and we hired a carseat along with our car, wasnt sure about taking our carseat on the plane as they throw them around so not good (saying that though how do we know the hire places carseat are any good!!!!) anyway as long as you have enough nappies, food and bubs is comfortable you will have a fab time, they are still young enough not to be freaked out about being somewhere new!!! have a fab time. x

Lucky you! At least get OH to give you a clue as to what clothes to take for the LO even if he doesn't tell you where you are going. You should definitely go, LO will be fine, take plenty of nappies and some calpol (just in case!), you won't need a car seat unless you will be going in a car out there, definitely take your pram as LO can always sleep in that.
Hope you have a great time!

Thanks ladies for a speedy reply lol

huggybear - i was thinking about the car seat and thought the same, getting bashed around like ur luggage normally does, no thanks lol! can u rent 1 when u rent a car ooo i was wondering that1??i had no idea lol

for the pram mine is like a pram base then the chassis so its in 2 part (its a 3in1 travel system) can u take both parts on plane (obv would need 2 as hes 2 little from the pushchair ?! lol) but would that count as part of ur allowance or do u pay more?!

im so excited and was not expecting this at al my minds buzzing lol!!

I would check with a couple of airlines to see if they have a policy. Try BA's website, and EasyJet They will give you a good idea.

And tell Mr RachyDaz that as you have no idea where you are going, he is going to have to do all the packing

(or you could ask him if it will be warm or cold)

I'm so jealous!

sounds great lucky you. I would take enough nappies to last on the plane journey and for the first day and just buy some when you get there, they are so bulky.
