My friend just gave me a TON of her son's old clothes!

She dropped off a bag tonight with mostly 18 month clothes in it. There were just a few pieces of 12 month. I seriously don't have to buy Rocco any 18 month clothes! MAYBE a few things, but there is a TON of clothes!! And REALLY nice stuff, Calvin Klein, Sean John, a bunch of name brand, designer stuff. I didn't even know Calvin Klein MADE baby clothes! lol Look at the pile she gave me...and the bottom picture is a little fuzzy but I HAD to show you. All I can think of when I put this on him was "I'm a lumberjack, and I'm ok, I sleep all night and I work all day..." LOL I couldn't stop laughing when I put it on him!! I think we're going to put it on him for our Christmas card picture.
The only thing...I definitely want to "pay it forward" and give a bunch of clothes to someone else that could use it, but we ARE planning on having more kids, and if we have another boy, I can use all this stuff again. I feel kinda selfish keeping it. Should I give it away now or keep it for another baby??

I'd keep it if you are planning another, then give it away. However, if you are a follower of fashion you might find some of it is outdated by the time you use it.

We're having a bit of a dilemma about keeping clothes for our next LO, or giving away, because we don't have the space to store everything, we've pretty much decided to keep all unisex stuff and 'nice' stuff, and give away vests and sleepsuits cos they're cheap to buy again anyway...

I've invested in vacuum bags - hopefully that will help with space. But this is a good idea, I might just do that.

Yeah I am selling some, giving away bits to my friends (they all have boys, so not a lot I can do there!) keeping the nicest bits in a box for Freya to keep and saving some bits for next baby.

Seems to take a lot of sorting

wow what a bunch of stuff !!

iv kept all of harriets clothes, only because i have a spare room (not for long though haha) so if this ones a girl it would be a great help, if not i may sort through most of her old clothes keep unisex and the bits i really like and store it in the loft, just INCASE a few years (and i mean like 10 years this time haha) down the line we might use it x

Keep it I'm keeping everything I get/buy for Amelie for my next LO. I'll recycle them by passing them on when I'm finished having babys.
