Any iCandy Apple JOGGER to Pear converters???

Anyone converted their Apple Jogger to a Pear? I've just done mine and I'm wondering about the jogger wheel. The pip kit has wheels to swap over to but they dont fit the jogger frame.....does that mean I need another part or can I stay on the jogger wheel? I dont want to use it on the wrong wheel and it be off balance with 2 LOs in it.

Any help much appreciated

Help!!

HI just did a search on the internet and found this after registering with baby and bump.
I've just got my convertor kit home and even though I asked the shop and they said it would be fine I just cannot work out how to fit the pear wheels onto the jogger frame - the instruction booklet is really unclear and I just don't think it's designed for the pear.
Did you ever find out what the solution is? There's no way I can pay out any more to get my pram sorted for 2 LOs - have written to i candy but don't expect an answer this side of xmas - my baby is due very very soon!!!!
If you can please let me know what you did!!
Thanks
xx

If i remember rightly mervs mum rang the suppliers who contacted icandy and icandy admitted they got it wrong. I think she managed to get a free new front plate from them to make it work. Worth contacting the shop you got the pram from.

Sorry

Kaci is right. You need to contact the supplier and get them to get in touch with iCandy. They admitted that the Jogger needs a different nose plate AS WELL as the converter kit. I emailed iCandy too and got no where. Go via the people you bought the pram/pip kit from and they will be able to get the correct nose plate for you. i think they are having to change all their brochures and info on the net.

wow what a palava! you'd think that being a fairly huge company they would get something as simple as this right!

Doesn't give me much faith in icandy tbh.

I'm not overly impressed Jac. I WISH Bugaboo did a double. I only went with the Pear because I got a freebie Apple and it was daft not to....meh.....I can see me selling it....dunno what for though....I've not really seen a double that I love

I'm the same Lisa...there arent any nice ones..and ive heard the seats are really small in the pear, is this the case?
Maybe buy 2 bees and tape them together side by side

that would actually make quite a smart pram! I should suggest it to bugaboo.

it is all a bit ridiculous lisa, still love the pear and peach though!

The seats for the pear are still bigger than the Bee seats so I dont see a problem. I think the Apple seat is toooo big! My 2 yr old nephew could fit in it twice! You could get my fat ass in it!
