Doctors appointment

Well i called the HV today to come out to look at kyles creases after reading something on here and she has told me to make an appointment at the doctors to get refered ... Does anyone no what happens at the doctors will he just look at it like the HV did or more?

I don't know really...but I would have thought he/she would just look it at, and only refer you if he was concerned. Hope all is ok?

At the 6 (or 8?) week check here, the GP moved LO's legs and hips, I wonder if he'll do that at the appointment?

well i went in he had a look moved Lo's legs he does want a ultrasound done so is going to speak to the people because he can do this at the doctors rather than going to hospital but will get back to me to see what they say

ruby had this just last week
her 4m check showed up uneven creases and as a result she was xray'd & scanned the following day. her Hips are fine & there are no concerns at all following the tests. the consultant actually told me that its very very rare that the uneven creases do indicate a prob, its just a very very 'soft' sign that there 'could' be a prob, but 99% of the referrals they see come to be nothing.. they just check it cos its better safe than sorry, so dont worry hun, im sure its fine xxx

I recently posted on another thread about clicky hips (sorry don't know how to do link to it!) as my son had hip dysplasia but it was detected at birth and successfully treated with a harness. I'm sure your LO is fine but if not the treatment at that age would probably be the harness and it is very simple way to treat it. I hope it all goes well for you.
